Here’s a controversial one: Vegemite! I’ve had people tell me it tastes like feet, but I actually like the stuff. Every time I go to the UK, I bring back a jar. And to be honest, I’ve never had Marmite so far, so I can’t even take sides. What’s your opinion? Marmite or Vegemite? Or do you also think it tastes like feet?

I’m Aussie so as far as I’m concerned Marmite is poor man’s Vegemite. We wouldn’t go a day in this house without opening the Vegie jar.

have never actually tasted it, but one thing is for sure, Marmite does not appear in the lyrics of an important quasi-anthem.

I only liked the stuff while in Australia, hence I really only had Vegemite. When I took some home, it was kind of meh. My theory is that it’s something to do with replenishing electrolytes, so I’ll definitely go back to it when I next find myself in a sweaty climate.

I’ve never tried Vegemite or Marmite, but I have a small jar of Marmite in my pantry… one of these days I’ll get brave enough to open it and try it!

Do it! Just start with a teensy amount, spread really thin. The taste is quite intense.

I can only get Marmite in the US and I love the stuff. With some pb on toast.
